Mentum implant, I worried for nothing.. simple

I had my chin done today.. Seeing photos from two years ago, I decided I was going to get it done at that place, and this time I finally went ahead, so I sent so many messages while trying to look things up.. Only two people remembered me, so I was lucky.. Even while I’m still taped up, I already feel so satisfied.. I worry a lot, but once I decide to do something I push through, and since I didn’t have much time I went ahead with the chin first right away.. A chin implant has low cost, takes little time, and carries little risk.. Plastic surgery is a matter of luck, though. But don’t make a snap decision just from photos, one review photo, or a single face shot.. Even I posted a very positive review today, but after some time there could still be a slight area that feels lacking, so you never know. I’m not very good at writing reviews, but once I started reading them I also developed an eye for things^^ It seems best to just avoid clinics that don’t seem like they’d suit me,, but anyway it all comes down to luck.. You know you can’t guarantee the result of plastic surgery,, so be cautious but decisive.. That’s what I’m saying^^ My lower face is very narrow and I’m the type with not much space in the chin area, but the line came out better than I expected.. I had expected it to turn out worse than this.. This time I had consultations at three places. I’ve gotten plenty of consultations over a long time, so I didn’t keep going around anymore, and of course I looked everywhere on the internet too.. I also went to a famous chin clinic in Apgujeong where a lot of people on another site had left comments, but the photos were taken at a flattering angle and looked pretty, so I was tempted, but the cost was almost double,, haha. I thought they’d all be roughly the same. The director at a well-known hospital said a chin implant wouldn’t be effective for my chin and that I should fill it with fat grafting instead; some places said my lower jaw has a reverse-stair-step look because my cheekbones are like an inverted ladder, and the implant space is narrow.. Some places said my chin is the kind that would make the silicone bulge out like a gourd pouch at the bottom, so I absolutely shouldn’t do it and should just get Botox for the marionette lines,, and some places, because I’m so sensitive, didn’t even give me confidence even when I asked them to make the line I wanted. Anyway, everyone said something different.. Most said it wouldn’t turn out the way I wanted and that my case was not a good one for a nice result, so 60 to 70 percent recommended an implant, while the rest said it was ambiguous, or suggested bone contouring, or said no, or said we could lightly refine it when doing fat grafting.. But this is about cosmetic surgery in another area, and I saw a case from a famous hospital where someone went there because they were told it would definitely work and that they should absolutely come, despite everyone else saying it was impossible, and it failed. There seem to be many reasons, but I won’t 공개 them. The more famous a place is, the higher the chance they do well, but there are so many individual factors that affect cosmetic surgery results.. Before surgery, your head really hurts. As you look into it, it becomes a headache.. Anyway, with a chin implant, most people get a fairly typical result, and it seems better than not doing anything. If you have a wide lower face and a retruded chin, you’ll really see a dramatic effect. I’ll have to remove the tape to know for sure, but I can already see a subtle change from before. What matters is that it gives even a slightly more refined impression.. Right now it looks really nice to me. A review from someone who had it done before was just like how I feel now. My face doesn’t look long at all.. I even thought it could have been lengthened by just 1 mm, but it didn’t get too long. lol Because of orthodontic treatment, my face is one where the cheek muscles and cheek fat have thinned out, like it’s been shaved down, so I worried it might become even more V-line, but the face shape feels more organized now.. If there’s any 부족한 part after I remove the tape, I think it would be a good method to complement it later with filler or fat grafting.. Among surgical materials, I think silicone is the most standard and reliable basic option. It’s not because I had the surgery myself; I’ve known that for a long time, after looking through cosmetic information for about ten years.. Because of posts about silicone side effects, I was worried it might not create the line I wanted, so I did it fairly conservatively.. Now that it’s done, it feels like nothing much. With sleep anesthesia and the media spinning around, once you feel good the surgery time passes quickly.. Bone contouring has the advantage that it doesn’t involve an implant, though it may not look as pretty as silicone,, but what if you end up not liking the line at all? You can’t avoid thinking about revision surgery for all cosmetic procedures.. Once bone is shaved, you can regret it for years and there’s nothing you can do.. I actually think there are more cases where the design after bone contouring is unsatisfactory than cases where silicone causes problems.. Hospitals that specialize in facial contouring tend to recommend bone cutting a lot. Since they mainly shave bone, I’d probably recommend bone contouring first too.. If someone has very limited room for a silicone implant, or if bone contouring is truly what they need, then they should do bone contouring, but if the bite is fine, I think silicone is the standard option.. Plastic surgery seems like an endless series of touch-ups lol. People who are very picky about beauty may have to keep touching up their face for life, whether with minor procedures or basic surgery, because their face changes with age or environment.. It’s fine as long as you stay within a moderate range and feel good about it.^^ And about things like "a chin implant will make it cold, damage the teeth, or feel like a foreign body"—this is just my opinion, but five years ago I also went around Apgujeong and Yeoksam getting consultations, and back then I asked to see the actual silicone that would be inserted, not just the samples lying on the desk, and what they showed me was much wider than today’s, white, hard-looking, and horse-shoe-like.. Seeing that, I thought, how could they even insert that? It would strain the chin. I was shocked, and at the time I even looked into whether I should try chin-tip binding at a place that also did rib-cartilage nose surgery.. The silicone they use these days, I personally asked to see it before surgery, and it looks about half the size of a baby or a thumb? Maybe even smaller, or not much bigger, thin and transparent and soft-looking. It seems reassuring to know what is going into my body before surgery. Even with the nose, why is the silicone from ten years ago so different from today’s? The old ones were almost like making a chalk bridge on the nose.. In the past, there wasn’t even a technique to raise the columella for people with an arrow-shaped nose where the tip droops. These days, the silicone line really seems to come out well. I’ve always thought silicone was the most efficient basic material for plastic surgery in many ways, but I’ve also seen posts about side effects from time to time, so I didn’t make this decision lightly.. Even now, after writing this, I’ll only know for sure after some time passes.. But seeing the chin implant material directly these days, I immediately thought, oh, this is nothing special, and if they put it in, I don’t think it would cause side effects, so I don’t have to worry.. Maybe side effects are more common when old-fashioned implants are used too aggressively.. They also said they’d provide aftercare for a year, and during my consultation the director said 4.5 mm, but when it came time for surgery I insisted on 5 mm, so while they were worrying over 4.5 mm, they even tried it on the outside, and later I kept changing my mind, so they even put both sizes in and thought about it a lot, and in the end I went with 4 mm. Because I was insisting while under anesthesia, I wonder if the surgery time was shorter and I needlessly had more tissue manipulated.. I feel embarrassed that I couldn’t decide and kept changing my mind, but since they tried both sizes in for me, I no longer have any attachment to the larger size, so that’s a relief.. For anesthesia, you just get one regular injection in the arm, and they put the anesthetic through there so you start feeling pleasantly light.. I felt completely normal until coming down, and I only felt it a little when they were stitching. There were no direct injections into the chin. Each hospital probably either custom-orders the silicone or uses a pre-made one. 1. Show them a photo of the front and side views of the chin line you want. 2. Just communicate things like whether you want it longer or not as long. Even if each director has their own style, they should be able to reflect the patient’s wishes. Once you’ve decided on surgery, leave the rest to the director and get your chin surgery with peace of mind.. I worried so much about my chin that my head hurt.. My lower face is narrow, the nasolabial crease steps down into the lower jaw, and I had every condition that would make it hard to turn out pretty. Even 1 mm on the face seems important.. At least the lips look neatly arranged now. Some people said the lower lip gets thinner, but not at all. The lips close more beautifully, and the mouth shape itself looks better. I used to unconsciously tense to make my lower jaw look longer, and I couldn’t comfortably close my mouth, so my jaw felt tired, but after surgery it immediately feels like I can let the lower jaw rest naturally.. It’s only the first day, but my mouth closes well on its own and it feels comfortable because I’m not straining my lower jaw.. If it also restores some function in the lower jaw, that would be a two-for-one benefit.. Even now, I don’t have to force the lower jaw and can close my mouth comfortably, which feels nice. It’s the first day and I haven’t even removed the tape, so am I overreacting..? Even after multiple surgeries, I feel like I can roughly tell just from the first day..^^ And it really doesn’t hurt much.. If I say it doesn’t hurt, then it really doesn’t hurt. I bruise easily and my body is really weak and sensitive. I took photos roughly, and I’m thinking I might upload them later. I’m extremely lazy.. I’ll try to post another review next time too.. If you go around a few chin clinics and choose the average millimeter recommendation they give, that should be fine. I think I worried about unnecessary things too much.. Oh, and even if two clinics both say 5 mm, it may not be the same 5 mm. Except for the very rare cases of infection, when you compare cost, design, effect, and whether revision is needed, silicone is the best, Gore-Tex should be considered with the understanding that it may shrink in size, and something called Silitex is just glue between Gore-Tex and silicone.. I’m rambling because I’m sleepy.. After surgery they said to lie down for a bit with a cold compress, but I said I hadn’t slept the night before, and they told me that could cause swelling and that it was okay to rest a little first, so I turned on the TV by myself, napped a little, and came back.. I lay there for an hour and a half, and since it hurt I was like, wow, it really does hurt, and I was irritated, even calling out to God lol. My house is a little far away, so I thought I had driven over for nothing, but after the anesthesia effect wore off it was the same even at night.. I was worried it wouldn’t settle well, so I couldn’t even speak or eat properly, but it hurts less than nose surgery.. I can move around freely, and because they used skin-colored tape instead of white tape, it looks neat.. I think even if I just wear a hat and go shopping or meet people, it won’t look strange at all. The first hour after surgery hurt like nose surgery, so I was like, you were lying when you said it doesn’t hurt.. They said if I slept, I’d go home with facial swelling, so I should rest a little, but since I hadn’t slept the night before I watched TV for an hour or two, slept, iced it, slept again, and then drove home. It was fine for driving.. Today it only hurts a tiny bit, to the point that it even feels pleasant. I’m the type with a weak constitution who bruises easily and feels more pain when having cosmetic surgery. I originally planned to post first in the clinic review section, but I got information here and learned more about revision nose surgery, so I’m posting here first. I think it will be helpful for people who are worried about their chin.. Does anyone know the nose clinic where Hwang Woo-seul-hye or Park Min-young got theirs done..? It seems like a nose that would suit me. Wherever you get it done, and whatever method you use, a chin surgery really does have an effect. It’s hard to endure being hungry. They say I’ll swell a bit more starting tomorrow, so I wonder how it will change.. I might just delete this post later^^ This isn’t the whole result yet, so I also wrote about how I’m feeling now and all sorts of other things.. I’m excited and hungry, so I can’t sleep..
