Eye Surgery Considerations

Clinic community review

I had surgery without an implant, but mesh was put in. I was someone who had no breathing discomfort, and they said it would be covered by insurance and did functional nose surgery together. When I said it was uncomfortable to breathe through my left nostril, the doctor said, “You can breathe with your mouth closed, right? Then that’s fine,” haha. For reference, for a whole month I couldn’t breathe through my nose at all, but they said it was swelling. Symptoms of empty nose syndrome are appearing. My nose feels sharp and irritated, and unless I inhale forcefully, I don’t really feel air coming in. I feel a slight sense of suffocation, so I’m scared when I sleep.. I sleep wearing a mask... because my nose and throat are so dry... Every day I taste blood.. It got so bad that I bought an ear endoscope and am looking inside my nose.. The mucous membranes are red and there are tiny bleeding spots...... As for the shape... the nasal bridge and nasal tip became bulky... The foreign-body sensation is also severe, but I think I should have looked into that more...

Osteotomy, hump osteotomy, spreader grafting, septal extension on both sides, cartilage tying while partially cutting the alar cartilage (Why do they not tell you they are cutting out alar cartilage??) During septoplasty, septal resection; during inferior turbinate surgery, outfracture (No, why don’t they explain things like this beforehand??) Every single day I’m crying and regretting my choice..... I think the doctor needs to be able to objectively assess his own skill
