I’m someone who has had revision surgery and often says that nose surgery should definitely be done very carefully. The reason is that the nose I already wasn’t happy with ended up getting inflammation ;;; I wasn’t satisfied with the surgical result, so I even thought my nose surgery had failed, but then inflammation developed in my nose, and since I had to have revision surgery, I also felt like it was just a failed work. For reference, I’ve always wanted a natural look. A nose with a slightly rounded tip and a suitably refined bridge, so it doesn’t look too obviously done. A nose that isn’t too high on the bridge, but still has some dimension... Everyone, when looking for a clinic, I think the most important thing is the information you get by doing your own research. What kind of information can you get from doing that? You can get the most important information about how your nose is likely to be operated on. I used to think that any plastic surgeon would make a nose that suited me, but that’s not true. The director makes a nose in their own style for the patient, so when you do your own research, you really need to check whether the director’s style matches the style you’re looking for or want. Then when I went to consultations, even though it was the same nose, the recommended surgery methods and materials were different depending on the director’s style. Isn’t that interesting? My nose is just one nose on my face, but depending on each director’s style, the recommended materials and surgical methods change. Because of this kind of thing, you also need to be somewhat objective about your own features, and while studying things like why the recommended surgery method is being suggested, since there’s a lot of information on YouTube these days, you should check whether it’s really necessary for your nose. Nose surgery really isn’t an easy surgery, and it doesn’t seem like the kind of surgery where you’re easily satisfied after just one time. So it feels like a surgery that has to be done more carefully... I did end up having revision surgery because of inflammation, but since I was okay with a natural look anyway, I only had revision surgery to reshape the tip of my nose again. I’m just thankful that the inflammation thankfully wasn’t extremely severe. When you think about it, nobody is forcing anyone to get surgery. Once you’ve altered a part of your body, it’s hard to go back to the way it was before;; so if you’re going to have nose surgery, everyone should carefully check how well the style you want matches with the style the director uses for surgery... Also check how many different materials this director uses... And make sure whether they tend not to recommend unnecessary procedures when suggesting surgery... Too long? I’ll just give a three-line summary of how to avoid failed nose surgery. 1) When reading the director’s reviews after surgery, the nose shape has to be to your liking, and the nasolabial angle and columella are also very important when checking the director’s aesthetic sense. If your aesthetic sense matches well, the chance of getting a nose with high satisfaction is much greater (I didn’t do this well for my first surgery). 2) You need to objectively understand your own nose. Only when you know your own nose well can you tell whether a surgery is necessary for you or unnecessary (again, I didn’t do this for my first surgery). How do you objectively evaluate your nose? Even if it’s a director you don’t necessarily want surgery from, if they’re famous for noses and known to give good consultations, it’s better to go even if there’s a consultation fee. Reason: whether the clinic is big or small, directors who became famous for noses tend to be surprisingly honest. Get to know your nose condition and consult with directors whose style matches what you want. Reference: for issues related to the septum, you absolutely need a CT scan. A clinic that doesn’t do CT scans from the start makes me wonder what they’re even looking at during consultation, so I don’t really recommend it. 3) The director’s attitude during the consultation is also important. Try to figure out what kind of person they are during the consultation. There’s an attitude you can sense during consultation, and if they’re not bothered the whole time and answer your questions well, I feel like those directors also check the post-op progress well. You need to pay attention to whether the director seems annoyed by you from the consultation stage onward! That’s what I’d recommend from my own feeling. This time, when I had revision surgery, I think I got a lot of help from looking into clinics, going to consultations, and deciding based on these three things.
홀리졸리 I got a consultation with one clinic for my first consult and came back with this, so I’ll keep it in mind Thank you so much There isn’t much information, and I don’t really know what to look at and compare as important, so it feels even harder
