Hi, this is a review I’m writing on day 2 after finishing my first surgery ever Since I was young, my mom and dad always said it would be good for me to get nose surgery, and my side profile was too flat, so after thinking about it a lot, I decided to have surgery! Actually, a close relative of mine is a plastic surgeon, and they said my nose is too short and small, and my nostrils are small too, so they weren’t sure if they could do it well.. They mainly do bulbous noses, so I guess they weren’t confident. Since we’re family, I think they told me honestly So I went around to consult at several places, and what they all commonly said was that my ear cartilage is small and my septal cartilage is also much smaller than other people’s. Even so, almost all the doctors said they would use ear cartilage, septal cartilage, and even costal cartilage too? While I was unsure, I went to ㅇㅅㅈ Plastic Surgery Honestly, it’s expensive.. It was the most expensive place I’d been to so far. But the reasons I chose this place were 1. the doctor said they would not take anything from any part of my body, and 2. they were the only doctor who didn’t recommend double eyelid surgery I do have monolids, but my friends say they’re big monolids with both the front and outer corners already open, and I also have slight inner double eyelids, so I think they’re the most attractive part of my body.. But all the other doctors strongly recommended double eyelid surgery. But when I told the ㅇㅅㅈ doctor that I liked my eyes, they didn’t bring up double eyelid surgery at all, so I liked that. And they were very honest. They said the amount of material that goes inside the nose / the silicone height can’t be estimated until they actually cut into the nose and see the elasticity of the skin. So it meant they didn’t know how my nose would turn out. But they told me to trust them. And they really emphasized their aesthetic sense... At first, that made me trust them a bit less, so I wasn’t going to do it.. But because this person didn’t recommend double eyelid surgery to me, I felt like their ideal look was similar to mine, so I decided to trust them and leave it to them. I decided to use artificial dermis (Megaderm) and silicone, and honestly, the surgery was so painful.. This place doesn’t do sleep anesthesia and operates under local anesthesia.. But it took about 4 hours.. It was really so hard... Still, looking back, maybe it was tolerable.. But after everything was done, my hands and feet were trembling But the good thing about this place is that the aftercare is really good, and I think the director’s skill is good. Especially, I don’t know how they stitched the inside, but they didn’t put cotton inside my nose, and I could breathe through my nose right after surgery. The director also does the dressing very meticulously and changes it to a new dressing every day. So the surgery process was harder than for my other friends who had nose surgery.. but I feel like there’s a big advantage in terms of care. They also prescribed a lot of medication.. Even though I’m very swollen right now, seeing my higher nose makes my head shape look nicer and my face look a bit smaller! It’s only been two days, but I’m very satisfied right now, and above all, being able to breathe through my nose and sleep lying down is such a huge advantage.. It’s still very swollen, but I’m looking forward to after the swelling goes down!
