Today is day 6 since surgery, and I had the splint, tape, cotton, and stitches all removed.. While reading posts, I honestly wondered what “big bulbous nose” meant. But as soon as I looked at my own nose, I understood what it referred to.. Right now I have silicone on the nasal bridge and my nasal tip was done with septal cartilage There is a dark reddish bruise in the middle of the nasal bridge and the nasal tip is seriously!! com plete ly blunt!!!! And my nostrils haven’t changed from before... I expected that after columella extension and nasal tip surgery, my nostrils would become longer like my friend’s... Is this what normally happens after septal cartilage surgery? The bluntness is really too severe. The alar contour is completely gone, and the width of my nose is now wider than the distance between my eyes. Is this okay to just leave alone??? If the swelling keeps not going down like this, how long should I wait? I think I need to set an upper limit... Ah, seriously. I’m eating bread like crazy right now. Losing it Ugh And this crawling-bug-like feeling in my nose, this throbbing + tingling + aching sensation Please comment... What even is this, a dangling runny nose from columella extension
