I think I wrote a bad surgery review here before, but I don’t know why it disappeared, so I’m writing it again. During the consultation, they said the line I wanted wouldn’t be possible and set the surgical direction together with ptosis correction using a lower line. I said I wanted epicanthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty too, but they said not to do epicanthoplasty if I was going to have nose surgery, and that lateral canthoplasty wasn’t really necessary. My eyes were asymmetrical, but during the consultation they didn’t mention the asymmetry at all. The doctor seemed to like natural, low inline double eyelids. The advantages are that the surgery time is short and recovery is fast. The swelling was all gone in a month, and it looks so natural that no one would know I had double eyelid surgery. But even though I had ptosis correction, my asymmetry didn’t improve at all, and it actually became more noticeable, so I get stressed every day looking at my eyes Honestly, I’m not sure about the effect of the ptosis correction either. It’s minimal compared with other clinics. Conclusion: They can’t correct asymmetrical eyes, but the double eyelid surgery turns out very natural and unnoticeable, so I recommend it to people who don’t have asymmetrical eyes.
