<After contouring><Before contouring>When I first started looking into contouring surgery, I had no intention of getting an overly glamorous line; I was looking into it for the purpose of improving my face shape. So I didn’t even consider double jaw surgery at all, and for contouring, I looked for a place that would create the line I wanted while preserving my face shape instead of shaving down all the bone. As I looked through more reviews, I naturally ended up seeing a lot of them, and because I kept hearing that experience is essential when choosing contouring surgery, narrowing down hospitals by reviews + experience actually became easier than I expected! But my personality is extremely introverted.. so the consultation was a bit hard for me Listening to the explanation + CT + surgery plan made me tired on my own.. Even so, the places that kept pressuring me to make a reservation right then and there just made me lose interest; there wasn’t a single part that really pulled me in? But at Saegim, there was no pressure, and the director actually told me my face shape wasn’t ugly right now, and that they would improve the asymmetry while making my face shape smoother, so I ended up getting contouring with two procedures. But contouring is really the real deal.. After the surgery, it was really hard. Setting aside not being able to eat, it felt like I could barely move the lower part of my face? So the fact that it was my own face but I couldn’t move it the way I wanted was really hard, and before surgery my chin was projected forward quite a bit, and because they corrected that, the swelling at the chin tip was the worst. But no matter where I looked for reviews, 1-2 weeks of swelling was obviously expected.... Still, maybe because I had two procedures? From week 3 onward, it started to look like a human face at least. Other than the face looking a little puffy, the overall face shape was definitely becoming more and more to my liking. When choosing a hospital, I cared not only about experience + reviews but also about the safety system, and I went to a place with CCTV as well as a monitoring system. That way there’s no risk of a ghost surgeon or proxy surgery, and since someone is watching, the hospital also has to be more responsible in surgery. I was more drawn to a place that confidently said from the start, “This is how cleanly and openly we show everything in our hospital.” I hope everyone here doesn’t get too greedy when getting contouring and really takes the time to carefully research hospitals. Ah, it’s been over a year since I had contouring, and I don’t feel any sagging at all~
