Hello? I am 5 months post-op after buried-incision double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction at Y Plastic Surgery. I am writing this to help those who are considering surgery. 1) Eye characteristics before surgery - I originally had double eyelids, but as I got older, from about a year ago the area above my eyes became hollow, and the double eyelid on one side became faint, so I started to look tired. That is why I decided I should have double eyelid surgery. 2) Reason I chose Yerom - A department head in the same office recommended it because the daughter of an acquaintance who is a doctor had surgery here and it turned out really beautifully. I also visited other places besides this one. Other places recommended incisional surgery, but here they guided me toward a non-incisional method, and I liked that they understood the post-surgery recovery period and the patient’s feelings well, so I decided on the buried method and ptosis correction. 3) Recovery process - It was my first surgery, but I felt they examined me very carefully in a comfortable atmosphere. As expected, the first few days were very swollen and I worried, but without any major bruising, the swelling went down naturally and I regained a natural appearance. 4) Changes after surgery - Opening my eyes became very comfortable, and I even felt as if my field of vision had widened. - My impression became clearer, and thanks to the ptosis correction, the hollow area above my eyes improved, so I feel good when I look in the mirror. - I worried that my original impression might change, but without a major change, I maintained natural double eyelids and eye shape similar to before. 5) Overall review - If your double eyelid line changes as you age and your impression becomes less defined, I recommend getting a consultation. - I feel the time I spent worrying about this over the past few years was a waste. - Even for simple double eyelids, each doctor has a different approach, and I liked that I could feel the director understood the patient’s feelings well and was studying ways to create the maximum effect with minimal treatment. - The other nurses and the manager were all kind, and I was able to have surgery in a comfortable atmosphere, so I am recommending it to people I know around me.
