As of today, it has been exactly 6 months since my reconstructive surgery. Now my nose can pretty much smell at the level of a dog’s nose, and it feels like I’m back to my old pre-surgery nose, so I have mixed feelings... Still, I’m so happy that I can now use my nose functionally. I’m left only with regret, thinking I shouldn’t have touched my nose in the first place.. Still, I’m grateful that I was able to recover even this much.
