I already wrote about square jaw + nose on the square-jaw review board, but I’ll still write a separate review just for the nose~ I had nose surgery last Saturday, a week ago. I didn’t want to put in any artificial implant, but since I was doing it to raise my low nasal bridge, the director said my bridge was very low and fat or things like that wouldn’t be nearly enough if I wanted to raise it, so he suggested silicone, and I decided on custom-made silicone. I made the nose I wanted myself with a program, then made it once more together with the director, and ordered it custom exactly like that. I came in Saturday, had surgery, and it ended with my nose packed with cotton. Maybe because I did square jaw and nose together, I was dizzy, vomited all night, and had a really hard time Sunday/Monday - Maybe because my nose was blocked and stuffy, I sneezed a ton No matter what I ate, I couldn’t taste anything. I kept feeling dizzy and nauseous. Tuesday - Except for the nasal splint, all the big tape that was on top was removed. My nose didn’t really swell much? There was almost no bruising either... For the first 3 days, they had put big tape from my nose up to my eyebrows, so maybe I just couldn’t see the slight swelling because of that. For two days, the eye area seemed a little swollen, but after 3 days when the big tape came off, the swelling around my eyes and nose went down quickly. Because I had my jaw done, there was only some swelling around the jaw. Wednesday/Thursday/Friday - Once my nose opened up, I felt so much better. I could smell the room and taste and smell food too. Oh, for reference, I don’t think they do ice packs on the nose or nearby. I only used ice packs on the square-jaw area for about 3 days after surgery. Day 7 Saturday - I went to the hospital, had the splint on top of my nose removed, and had the stitches at the front of my nose removed. There wasn’t really any bleeding or anything, and it was almost all healed. Still, if you look closely at the nose, you can still see a faint red line I took anti-inflammatory medicine and antibiotics diligently the whole time, and my recovery power is terrifying, almost like Spider-Man From day 3 after surgery, all the wounds, inflammation, swelling, and things like that went down at tremendous speed, and after taking off the big tapes on my jaw and nose, it seemed to heal even faster with better blood circulation. I don’t know if walking for 1 hour every day also had an effect. The hospital kept repeatedly telling me to eat well and walk a lot. I got the splint off today, so finally, if I wear a mask, it doesn’t show much and I can walk around, which is nice. I’ll attach photos too. I think there is still some swelling on the nasal bridge. It feels slightly tight and swollen, and gently touching it or washing my face is okay, but if I apply pressure it hurts For my nose, I wanted the bridge between my eyes to be higher, and I wanted the front part of the nasal bridge to become a bit thinner, and I think it came out well with that kind of feel While doing it, my nasal septum was also slightly deviated, so that was corrected too Oh, they said the stitches inside the nose will be removed next Saturday, meaning the Saturday that marks 2 weeks after surgery. They said it takes a month for the major nasal swelling to go down Still, since I don’t have a huge amount of swelling now, I’m hoping that by week 2 or week 3 a lot will go down and it’ll look natural... Everyone planning to get nose surgery, and everyone who already had it and is recovering, fighting!
