They said it wouldn’t hurt, but for me it hurt a lot. They said there would be cooling, but the doctor just did it without repeatedly lifting it off and putting it back on. It was really hot, and I wondered if this was okay. Sure enough, swelling came up right away, and I lived like a loaf of bread for two weeks. It’s been a month now, but it still hurts when I press around my jaw. I think I met the wrong doctor, but there was no effect either.
