I had my hooked nose smoothed down and even had osteotomy, but even on the day of surgery, there wasn’t much swelling, and I didn’t bruise as much as I expected!! After the splint was removed, I was able to breathe through my nose, and I can see the swelling going down little by little!! The bruising around the osteotomy area is gradually fading, and the area where the stitches were removed is becoming so faint that it’s really hardly noticeable.
