It is not a particularly kind place. Maybe both the doctor and the consultation manager were busy, but they seemed half-risen from their chairs. If I asked a question, they would sit back down, then slightly get up, then sit back down again, repeatedly. I had a lot I wanted to ask, but the answers came rushing at me so fast that honestly, I don’t remember what I heard. Because I’m not familiar with terms like septal cartilage and autologous costal cartilage, I asked if I could record, and they said no, saying that if I recorded, they would not speak realistically and would only say good things. I acknowledge that. So I didn’t record and tried hard to take notes, but they said this is something I need to understand, and that they would write everything down for me, so not to take notes. In the end, they didn’t write anything down, and all that remains in my memory is the unfriendly feeling and the chaos....
