Hello~~ They say these days many people get plastic surgery regardless of gender, right? First of all, I'm a 26-year-old man, and this time I made a big decision and got rhinoplasty. My nose had a severe hump, so I had been very stressed about it since I was young. From the morning, I was really nervous because of the burden of having surgery itself, but they encouraged me a lot, saying that since it would be done under sleep anesthesia and because it was autologous dermis rather than an implant like silicone, I didn't need to be too afraid of side effects or pain during surgery. So I calmed my very nervous heart a lot and had the surgery. I thought sleep anesthesia meant I would fall asleep, but that wasn't exactly it; once the medication went in, it felt like my body was floating and my mind was slightly out of it(??) haha. That's how it was. Thanks to that, I think I was able to finish the surgery well without feeling much pain. Ah!! And even after surgery, there was almost no pain. They told me to take painkillers if it hurt, so I took them just in case, but as for pain, it was only an occasional throb? and that was it. Since there is almost no postoperative pain like with other surgeries, I think you should focus on managing it so you don't get a runny nose and diligently applying ice packs to reduce swelling and bruising. During the first 3-4 days, I had a cast on and the swelling had not gone down, so I only had vague half-expectation and half-worry, hoping the shape would settle well. But now that 1 week has passed, a lot of the swelling has gone down, and from the side, the nasal bone that used to protrude has been removed, so it looks much better than before surgery!! If I keep applying ice packs diligently, receive treatment diligently, and the nasal swelling completely goes down and it settles well, it will become much prettier than now, right? It hasn't even been a month yet, but I'm really looking forward to it.
