My epicanthoplasty was overdone, leaving my lacrimal caruncle exposed, and I lived for over 2 years with an image I did not want. I got so stressed that I had restoration. It was a clinic I went to after following a famous YouTuber at the time, but unlike other people, the shape became extremely round, and although slight, a scar remained too. The restored area feels separate and awkward when I smile with my eyes or make facial expressions. Recovery also took a very long time! Until one year, when I drank alcohol, only that area became noticeably and excessively red even though I had makeup on. I was so upset after my epicanthoplasty went wrong, so of course!! It looks much prettier after restoration, but it was expensive, and I can’t help feeling disappointed about the shape and scar Especially because of the shape, I’m thinking about revisiting the clinic and getting micro-laser treatment..
