I thought it would be better to do orthodontics near home, so I ended up doing it in Suwon on a friend’s recommendation. At the beginning, they took photos and a CT scan, looked at the sizes of my lower and upper jaws, and the doctor consulted with me about how the orthodontic treatment should be done. My lower jaw was more developed than my upper jaw, so compared to the upper jaw, my upper teeth were positioned forward and my lower teeth were a bit curved inward. I was told extracting teeth would not have a dramatic effect, so I decided not to extract any teeth and just re-align the bite. At the end I said, ‘I’m satisfied,’ and the doctor said he felt it was a pity, and I was like, then why didn’t you tell me to extract teeth? What exactly are you trying to do here? But it has been maintained well and I’m satisfied~! If you live in Suwon, I recommend it.
