1-Month Review of Lateral Canthoplasty + Lower Canthoplasty + Alar Reduction

It’s been one month since I had lateral and lower canthoplasty plus alar reduction at a clinic. One eye came undone on day 2, so I had revision surgery, and unfortunately, the swelling went down in a way that made the re-operated side sit slightly lower, so there’s a bit of asymmetry... Still, my eyes definitely look softer than before, so I’m satisfied, but since it was non-incisional after all, it didn’t come down as much as the line I wanted. I’m thinking about maybe getting it redone later with a fully incisional method... I was debating whether or not to get alar reduction, but I just went ahead and did it together on impulse, and I’m actually more satisfied with this part! My alae originally had a shape that lifted upward, which contributed to the flaring and my sharp-looking facial impression, but now that the alae have been reduced naturally, I look much more refined..! I’m thinking it was a good decision to do them together.. There is a slight scar from the external incision, but unless you look up closely from below, it doesn’t show, so I’m taking care of it by diligently applying ointment..

This review is a surgery review pursuing a natural look.
