At first, I didn’t really know what a recessed chin was, so I thought I had a protruding mouth, and I went around getting consultations for a protruding mouth. Because of the cost, I couldn’t easily decide and was about to give up... but because of a friend, I found out it was a recessed chin, went for a consultation... and ended up having recessed chin surgery haha My boyfriend is going to the military soon so I wanted to show him before that. I quickly scheduled a date and had the surgery, but there was less swelling than I expected, and even though it hurts, I like it so much haha I thought a million times that I’m glad I did it haha My upper teeth look like rabbit teeth, so my upper lip lifts up and makes it look like I have a protruding mouth. Since I sent my boyfriend off to the military, I’ll work hard, earn money, and get orthodontic treatment too!! Anyway.. For a severe recessed chin like mine... fat grafting wouldn’t help, and I’d need a lot of fat too, so I chose an implant... There is still some foreign-body sensation, but it feels like it’s gradually decreasing, and my mouth opens more and more, so eating is more comfortable than last week. I’ll have to keep watching it a bit more~ haha
