I want to get revision surgery with autologous costal cartilage, but I’m curious whether it will hold up well without drooping. Has anyone here had revision surgery with autologous costal cartilage because of nasal tip drooping? How was it??
노실버빈 There’s something I first learned while going around for consultations for autologous costal cartilage: even costal cartilage has different support strength depending on which rib cartilage number is harvested;; After hearing this at Finish, I asked everywhere else I went for consultations, and some places subtly dodged the question, and some don’t use the 5th to 6th ribs, so I think it would be good to use this to sort them out a bit.
아유다암 If you use autologous costal cartilage, drooping is definitely less. My friend got revision only for the nasal tip at ㅂㅌㅇ, and it turned out well.
물구남후 I also used donated costal cartilage for my first surgery, so I’m looking into autologous costal cartilage. I’m going to visit ㅌㅋㄹㅅ, and I should take a look at ㄱㄱ too.
