I had it done 8 years ago, and when I asked the clinic where I had my first surgery to give them to me, at first they said they could give them after checking with the doctor, so they made me wait over a week. Now they say it’s been too long since the surgery, so they’re not keeping the photos anymore;; They just keep saying photos and CT scans aren’t medical records. I was planning to take them to consultations, so I feel stuck.
트라이이 I asked the clinic where I had my nose surgery too, and they said they delete everything after about 5 years or some number of years, so there’s no data
haruholic Usually, if it’s been too long, they delete them. It’s not that the clinic did something wrong or is bad. You probably don’t remember, but they likely got your consent based on standards for processing and managing data under the Personal Information Protection Act, with periods like 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, and so on. Usually, if there’s nothing special, they probably get consent for a maximum of 5 years, and after that, the principle and the law is not just that they stop using it, but that they must completely delete it. If I was going to use those photos, I should have kept them safely myself.
지진히히 After 8 years, I do think they might not have them... I should ask for mine before even more time passes too, just in case I should keep them... Thanks to you, good info.. thank you...!
터넙 [@지진히히] You never know what might happen with the nose, so definitely request them and keep them!! I’m glad it helped~!!
