I had revision surgery because of a drooping nasal tip issue, and I was debating between donated costal cartilage and autologous costal cartilage, then went with autologous costal cartilage. People said if you use autologous costal cartilage it hurts so much you’ll die, so I was seriously scared, but the doctor said they harvest autologous costal cartilage in a somewhat different way from other clinics, and it really didn’t hurt much,,, 30 minutes after surgery ended, I slowly went down and up subway stairs by myself and went home,,, It does hurt when coughing and when lying down then getting up, but rather than feeling like wow, it hurts so much I’m dying, it’s more like when you get side stitches, run a lot and pant, your insides feel stuffy and your throat feels a bit strained? I also didn’t swell much. Actually, I barely swelled at all,,, The osteotomy was done unbelievably well,,, I forgot to include nasal tip cartilage correction so that part is a bit disappointing, but they said it will become slimmer like I saw in the virtual simulation, so I’m waiting. That’s why it’s 4 stars. Oh, and my eyes are also a bit ambiguous, so I’m not sure if it’s the feeling I had in mind, so 4 stars. For the nose, it’s because of my own forgotten issue + waiting, and honestly it’s practically 5 points. The facilities are good too, but these days there are so many plastic surgery clinics with good facilities, so relatively it’s just 4 points,,
