It was a clinic specializing in axillary incision, so I decided on a private clinic thinking they’d have the skill to avoid much bleeding. The event price was 950 on the condition that the assistant staff would handle about 20% of the surgery, but from what I saw in the community, it seemed like the base price was just 950. I had to get a chest X-ray somewhere else first, and decided on Mentor Extra 465~500.
Day of surgery I told the doctor I wanted to be a D cup and didn’t want E or F. I was worried it would be cold when I went into surgery, but it wasn’t cold. The anesthesiologist said it would hurt when the medication went in, and it really did hurt, so I said, “My arm hurts I feel dizzy,” and then woke up in the recovery room bed. The first thing I felt when I woke up in recovery was: it doesn’t hurt as much as I thought? I wondered if that was the director’s skill, or maybe because of the painkiller pump. Even though it was general anesthesia, I wasn’t dizzy at all and my mind was clear. There was no nausea either, just a heavy, stinging feeling in the chest. When I had a forehead lift before, I felt dizzy, nauseous, and couldn’t even stay still, so this was much better than that. I didn’t even rest longer and was discharged right away.
No bandage on the chest Only a corrective bra and an upper-chest band were worn, no patches. But there were two to four holes on the side of my chest and bruising, so I felt upset They said the implant position was secured with thread, but why didn’t they tell me before surgery....... And there was bruising under the breasts too. If I was going to be bruised like this, I felt like why did I go to this hospital instead of another one.
Day 1 When I lay down and got up, I felt pressure in my chest and it was hell I started moving slowly and couldn’t put strength into my body. It stung and hurt. I was told to sleep without the corrective bra, so I did, but when I got up again and had to put it back on, it felt like my chest was being ripped apart, pure hell. Went to see the director. I said my nipples were drawn inward and it felt like my breasts would stick together, but they said it was because I had a pectus excavatum, and that I had been told before surgery. I was completely confused.... If the result was going to be that my breasts would stick together, then maybe I should have gone to another doctor who specializes in pectus excavatum instead of this clinic. They had mentioned it as a precaution before surgery, but after surgery they said it was expected to stick together.......... Anyway, I tried to calm myself down by thinking I should just wait until the swelling goes down. I heard the director talking while consulting next to me, saying that due to bottoming out they’d have to stitch only one side lower, lol. I had seen reviews saying this clinic had bottoming-out side effects, so I thought it still happened frequently, and I regretted not going to another hospital.
Day 2 I was so bothered by the bruising around the stitch marks on the side of my chest and the bruising under my breasts that I even applied a bruise cream. I ate a lot of tomatoes, thinking they might help clear the blood
Day 3 As soon as I woke up in the morning, it throbbed so I took Tylenol. The heat in my chest gradually went down. I could raise my arms up above shoulder level, and it hurt less than before. The pain from lying down and getting up eased up. It became much easier to move. The only real advantage seems to be fast recovery.
