Phew.. Hello I’m leaving a post because I have so many worries about revision eye surgery.. I had my first eye surgery the year before last, in November 2015.. At that time I had partial incision + epicanthoplasty + ptosis correction.. After that, after a little while, I was watching the progress, and one eye? was only half open, while only the other eye turned out well.. So the hospital redid ptosis correction on just one eye with a non-incisional method as an after-service.. Then after a little while, around 6 months later, one eye came undone again.. When I asked the hospital again, they said they would do after-service, so this time I had incision + line revision + ptosis correction again.. I think that was around September 2016.. Since then about 1 year and 2 months have passed.. The problematic one eye.. has a higher line, a sausage-like fold.. and the ptosis correction wasn’t done properly either.. The other eye is relatively okay.. I went back to the hospital that redid the surgery.. haha They said the director who was in charge of me had moved to another hospital.. So I had no choice but to be seen by another director.. Even though this would be my fourth eye surgery.. somehow.. the hospital’s attitude felt too casual? Like they were taking it lightly? Usually, shouldn’t revision eye surgery be approached carefully? But the director was young and looked inexperienced.. They said they would do it as after-service ㅡㅡ and told me to just pay the anesthesia fee.. With non-incisional ptosis correction.. Ah, seriously.. After hearing that, I snapped back to my senses and thought I should do it at another hospital.. I had the consultation and received a business card.. On the way home, I threw the business card in the trash.. Really.. ha.. I’m upset, and next year I’m going to save money, look for a place that is good at revision surgery, and do it there.. I really felt deeply that eyes are something you have to be cautious about from the very first surgery...
