My original eyes had slight ptosis and a lot of fat, so because it was a complex of mine, I wanted to get ptosis correction. I visited several clinics to look around, and during the consultation, it felt like they listened to what I had to say, and it was the director, not a coordinator, so I liked it even more. I thought that even if the price was higher, this place seemed trustworthy, so I had the surgery.
On the actual day of surgery, there was no detailed consultation, and I was put straight onto the operating table, which somehow felt unsatisfactory. Before that, during the consultation, we had mostly discussed ptosis correction, and they had not explained exactly what they would do. Now that some time has passed after the surgery, my eyes are asymmetrical, and one eye looks like not enough fat was removed, so the upper eyelid is puffy. The outer corner of my eye feels irritated and cold, so I tear up often. More than anything, I think my eyes look worse than before, so I am living uncomfortably day by day. Even though I want revision surgery, I do not have time, and I also do not want to go through that process again. There is no guarantee it will turn out well, so I am just living like this. I learned this time, at the cost of my own eyes, that just because a consultation feels satisfactory to you, it does not mean the surgery will go well, nor does it mean good communication will make it turn out that way...
