Since it was my first cosmetic surgery, I did it very, very conservatively. I had it set as an in-out line. I aimed for the front part of the line to be barely visible and for the eyes not to change much from before surgery. They did not recommend epicanthoplasty, so I did not have it. What I liked was that it still didn’t look too obvious that I had double eyelid surgery, so I started going out after about a month. After 3 years, all the swelling was completely gone, and the marks when I closed my eyes became less noticeable. But the double eyelid is caught too much only toward the outer line, and because I have an epicanthal fold, the impression feels quite fierce, so I’m thinking about revision surgery.
