Among people I know, there’s someone who had rhinoplasty around the same time as me, and that person is fine. They did have it at a different clinic, though.. I don’t think everyone gets contracture just because they get rhinoplasty. Was I just unlucky? Honestly, until this situation happened, I never even slightly thought I’d end up with a contracted nose. With noses, you really never know when something might happen. Even if I do a full removal and go back to my original nose, I think I’ll want surgery again, so this time I’m just going to do revision surgery with autologous costal cartilage from the start.
