I had it removed today. The silicone was removed 7 years ago, and the nasal tip septal support and ear cartilage were left in place. When removing the silicone, they said the nasal tip and chin would look sunken, so they put donated costal cartilage in between, but as time passed it became bumpy. It caused me a huge amount of stress. Maybe because of that, I developed a thyroid problem and even had surgery 3 weeks ago I felt I couldn’t go on like this, so I immediately looked into removal and consulted two places, ㅅㅅㅇ and ㄱㅇㅅ. At ㅅㅅㅇ, they said they might use my dermis for the depressed area, and the fact that it would be open surgery bothered me. I liked Dr. ㄱㅇㅅ more, so I decided to do it here. Consultation again before surgery. They said they would fill the depressed area with ear cartilage, untie the nasal tip binding, and might leave a little of the support, not all of it. Before, only the nasal tip was high, but after doing it, it feels a bit more natural; I’m not sure how it looks. Anyway, I hope it heals well so I can live with peace of mind
