Hello! I recently got some help while looking through this community, so I’m leaving a review too in case it helps someone! I had the non-fixation method, with incisions at the 45-degree cheekbone area and the posterior side to insert it! As for swelling, after about 2 weeks? only the major swelling went down and I went around right away, but my friends just said I looked prettier and no one noticed. My cheekbones weren’t that noticeable in everyday life, and I was preparing for a job where I’d be on camera, so I did it because I wanted to look smoother on camera. The effect wasn’t dramatic, but I’m satisfied! I also started worrying about side effects for no reason recently, but I took photos when it had been about 1 year and 3 or 4 months? since the bone surgery, and the bones had attached perfectly. From what I know, even with non-fixation, if you do it at a place that attaches the bones well, there are actually no side effects like cheek sagging! I’ve never felt any cheek sagging either. If the bones attach well, I recommend non-fixation! I’m living well without any discomfort after surgery
