On March 13, I had eye and nose surgery at a well-known hospital in Seomyeon. My eyes are not too bad, so I am just waiting until the bruising goes down, but I think my nose is the real problem.. It was my first nose surgery, and they used 4 mm silicone and donated costal cartilage.. Of course, because I had a wide nose, upturned nose, and bulbous nose, they also did osteotomy. Costal cartilage is extremely hard.. But today, on day 7 after surgery, my nose is so sore and tight, and the pain continues even after taking painkillers.. The nasal tip has gone up far too much compared with the bridge, so I asked whether the bridge could be raised more, and they said it could not. Then I asked whether the nasal tip could be lowered, and they said that was possible and would not even take 10 minutes... For now, we decided to wait until the swelling goes down and then decide based on the situation, but my nose hurts so much today. All my nerves are focused on my nose.. When I went to the hospital today and said my nose seemed too hard, they said that if ear cartilage is used, the nose later sinks down.. So I said okay for now and came back, but today is the first time my nose feels so sore and painful.. Tomorrow I will go to the hospital and ask whether it can be changed to ear cartilage, and if they say no, I am even considering complete removal. For now, I also feel the money spent on my nose would be a waste, and since my wish was to have a higher nose, even if it droops later, I am going to ask about revision surgery using ear cartilage. If they say it is not possible, I will have it removed. If I end up using ear cartilage and, a few years later, my nose sinks or side effects occur, I will remove everything without any hesitation. And after this, I plan to never have any surgery or procedures for the rest of my life. Those of you getting plastic surgery, please research carefully and have surgery safely!! Please, really!!! And do not expect that you will change dramatically. People like that are extremely rare, and do not think that side effects will not happen to you!! You never know at what point side effects may occur. It would be good to find out at least one backup plan in advance in case side effects occur!!
