Facial Re-Surgery

Review of 45-degree cheekbone shaving + pin (wire) removal

I first had cheekbone reduction surgery 15 years ago. At the time, they didn’t touch the 45-degree cheekbone area, so as I got older, I felt like that area looked relatively more prominent. While it was bothering me, the cheekbone wire that had been used for fixation before started to feel needlessly uncomfortable and unsettling, so I began considering removal. Then I found out there was a hospital that could do cheekbone pin removal and 45-degree cheekbone shaving at the same time, and with the long holiday coming up, I decided to do it this time. The most important thing to me when choosing a hospital was whether I could safely have both surgeries at the same time. While carefully comparing several hospitals, I learned about Director Kwon Soon-beom at Arc Plastic Surgery. I trusted him because he has extensive experience with cheekbone surgery and proceeds with precise surgical planning and a safe method. The cost was also reasonable compared with other places, so it was less burdensome. After the consultation, I felt even more reassured because the director was really kind and professional. He explained each thing I was curious about in detail and gave a lot of realistic advice, so I was able to decide with confidence. Arc Plastic Surgery’s hospital facilities were also clean and had a luxurious atmosphere, which made it feel more trustworthy. Hygiene management looked thorough, and the waiting area was comfortable, which was nice. In particular, the general anesthesia process, which I had been afraid of, was very clean and systematic, so I was able to have surgery without anxiety. The location was also right in front of the station, so it was easy to get to, and I thought I would be able to visit without burden even after surgery. Right now, I still have swelling after surgery, but I’m satisfied because there is almost no bruising, more than I expected. Something urgent came up right after surgery, so I had to go out often, but just wearing a mask made it hardly noticeable that I had surgery, so I was able to go about daily life without major inconvenience. I’m looking forward to an even more natural and pretty line once the swelling goes down. I hope my review helps even a little for people considering the same surgery!
