They said nostril reduction wasn’t necessary right now and that I could do it separately if needed after surgery. The coordinator was kind, and although the doctor was blunt, he didn’t recommend anything beyond what was necessary. It almost felt like he was discouraging me from doing more than I wanted. 1. ㅌㅇㄴ, Dr. ㅊㅎㅅ Even though I made a reservation, there kept being schedule adjustments for the consultation, probably because the doctor had so many surgeries. Even on the day itself, I had to wait a bit. Because of the doctor’s schedule, I had a CT scan and then consulted the doctor directly before seeing the coordinator. He came out right after surgery and during the consultation, before I could even say what I wanted, he precisely identified everything and even explained the surgical method. He said my skin is thin, so silicone could be used for the bridge but not raised too much (3-4 mm), and that artificial dermis would be useless anyway because it gets absorbed. For the tip, because the cartilage is weak, he said to build a support with donated rib cartilage and cover it with septal cartilage. He also said he would lower the columella and the tip to match my nose shape. Here too, he did not recommend nostril reduction and said to do it separately later if needed. The consultation was short, but it felt concise and substantial, and because he pointed out exactly what was needed, I was very satisfied and booked on the spot.
