I had a hump nose and a low, bulbous nose, so I had tried several procedures. Fillers felt like they gradually spread out, and Hiko had no effect. It just ended up becoming an unbalanced nose with only the bridge high and the tip low,, Honestly, I was scared of rhinoplasty, so I kept putting it off, but people around me kept saying that for the nose, I should get surgery rather than procedures. From then on, I wanted to have surgery to definitely get a refined, straight-with-slight-curve nose, so I went to consultations at several places, and then had rhinoplasty at a clinic where the aesthetic standards matched mine well and the director’s consultation was thorough. During the consultation, they explained a lot about each material, and since I needed a somewhat dramatic change, I leaned toward autologous costal cartilage, and the director also recommended it, so I trusted them and went ahead with it! The line came out exactly as the straight-with-slight-curve shape I wanted, and I like the shape of the columella too. The bulbous nose and hump that procedures couldn’t fix were completely gone all at once, so I feel relieved hahaha As the swelling keeps going down, I keep hearing that it’s getting prettier over time. I just hope it stays maintained like this forever haha
