At the time, I went to a place that said they would do it cheaply and had incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction. I wanted a natural look, so I asked for an inner double eyelid, but they said it seemed like it needed to be 7 mm and that they would proceed that way. After doing it, not only were both sides uneven, but my whole impression changed completely, in a fierce-looking way
I was so devastated that I didn’t go outside, but then I thought this wasn’t right and decided on revision surgery. When I looked into it, they said that if 3 weeks pass, then after that you have to wait at least 6 months before surgery is possible, and that it’s better to do it after 6 months if possible. I couldn’t live with this appearance for even 6 months, so I searched for a revision surgery clinic in time for the 3-week mark, went there, and begged them to do it. Thankfully, the director did it without saying much, so the revision surgery was fairly successful.
Actually, other places would absolutely never do revision surgery like this. I had it done because an acquaintance introduced me, and it was really, really because my first surgery had gone so badly. Other places probably would never have done it. I was lucky...
Of course, I won’t go back to how I looked before surgery, but I’m living with it and am reasonably satisfied.
