First of all, I have a surgical history of non-incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction, and one side feels like it’s coming undone as the fat has sunken, so I got consultations for revision surgery. I narrowed it down to two places and am debating. One place recommended only incisional double eyelid surgery + fat repositioning + releasing the multiple creases, and they said they won’t touch the previous ptosis correction when making the incision. The second place recommended incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + fat repositioning. They said that because they would do the surgery while undoing what was done before, ptosis fixation/correction would be included..? Since I’m changing from non-incisional to incisional surgery, it seems like the decision differs based on whether ptosis correction is included, so I’m asking for opinions.. Can they do incisional surgery without touching the existing non-incisional ptosis correction?
