Nose Re-Surgery

After full nose implant removal, columella retraction? contraction? Help, everyone

It’s been a month since I had the entire implant removed without a support structure, but the columella area, or the part around the nasal pillar after the incision, has retracted inward I messaged the hospital and they said it’s because it’s the contraction period, and that they can give a scar tissue injection (steroid), but I also know scar tissue injections can cause indentations or side effects. Is there anyone who knows about this? Also, the hospital says even if the contraction relaxes, they can’t tell whether it will return to how it was. Has anyone experienced this kind of case? Before removal, my nose had no inflammation, it was not a contracture nose, and I had it removed after the first surgery I’m so worried... I’m scared it will retract more and collapse, and I’m terrified it will get worse Don’t ask which hospital it is😭
