Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Review of 2 facial contouring procedures: cheekbones and long-curve jawline

If I had to pick my biggest complex about my face, it was asymmetry. When I was young, my bones and face shape still hadn’t fully settled yet, so I lived thinking it would get better as I grew up, but it didn’t… I hated seeing my protruding cheekbones and the angular area where my chin connects to my square jaw, and I think the stress only got worse as I grew older. For me, the cost was one thing, but doing all 3 procedures felt a bit too much, so I only did the 2 procedures I most wanted to fix right away: cheekbones/square jaw. The hardest thing when looking into clinics was deciding, because there were two clinics that told me to do all 3 procedures. I was also recommended things like cortical bone shaving and deep cheek fat removal, and I wondered if I needed all 3 procedures plus deep cheek fat removal to get a dramatic result, but at the same time it felt like the scale of surgery might be getting too big… I asked a lot in plastic surgery communities and asked friends too, and I worried a lot. After thinking about it for quite a long time I did it at the clinic that recommended I could just do exactly 2 procedures. Fortunately, the cost somehow fit within the budget I had in mind too. If the cost had gone over, the surgery might have been pushed to later this year or next year, but when I used up exactly all the spare funds I had, it came out to match the surgery cost exactly… Anyway, after surgery I was hospitalized for one day, and once the anesthesia fully wore off, they told me to drink lukewarm water. I remember gulping down so much water right there while I wasn’t even fully in my right mind. Normally I don’t like the bland taste? fishy taste? unique to water, so I don’t even drink it much, but it felt like I drank all the water I’d drink in my lifetime right there. That’s how hard the throat dryness and stinging were right after surgery After surgery, my face throbbed, so my nerves got sensitive, and in my case, headaches also came up periodically. Honestly, I think saying facial contouring doesn’t hurt at all is a lie. The contouring itself may not hurt, but there are quite a few other accompanying pains.. lol But that was only on the day of surgery and until the next afternoon. After taking my medication properly and resting well (written as resting, read as passing out), from around the evening of the second day, it became bearable and okay. I repeatedly wore the compression band for 1 hour and rested for 30 minutes, and I ate small amounts of porridge.. If I tried to eat something tasty, I could eat it by cutting it into tiny pieces, but brushing my teeth was annoying, so I only ate enough before taking medicine. I think I lost about 2 kg during this period. Living on powdered meal replacements is secretly hard. Currently, I’d say all the residual swelling has gone down and I’m really feeling the contouring effect? The weather is just cool and nice, so every night I turn on RunDay and do cardio, and since doing cardio makes the swelling go down and my belly fat feel like it’s gradually going in too, I’m getting a two-for-one effect…

This review is a surgery review pursuing a dramatic look.
