First of all, the director is kind and fairly confident, and the staff are all rather blunt and unfriendly except for one person... Even if you visit at your scheduled time, you still have to wait 30 minutes to an hour every time. Honestly, the cost was way too expensive, but if you're worried about scars, it might be worth getting a consultation at least once.
After surgery on my face left a deep scar, I had scar-removal laser treatments three times. First of all, after three sessions the scar wasn't completely gone, but it became much smaller and lighter. I wanted just one more session, but the cost was too high for the size of the scar (1.2 million won for one more session), so I stopped there. It was so expensive that I'm considering getting the same treatment with the same machine at a different hospital. The director was satisfied with my progress and said the scar had become much smaller... lol
For the first laser session, they applied anesthetic cream and had me wait, then gave some kind of stem-cell injection? I'm not exactly sure what it was, but they injected something and did the laser treatment. Even with anesthesia, it hurt very, very much. A week later I came back to the hospital, got another simple...? laser treatment that didn't hurt, and then had my progress checked. They did a brief LED light therapy and discharged me, and that was one treatment session. I had the laser treatment once a month like that, so it took a total of three months.
The precautions for laser treatment were... don't touch the scabbed blood crust at all, and eat well and sleep well. The staff definitely weren't especially kind. The director was... a good person, but he seemed to kind of push patients around and had a very strong personality.
And this wasn't something the hospital said, but after the scab fell off and during the recovery period when makeup was possible, I applied scar ointment diligently and massaged lightly. I think that may have helped the results be better, so I recommend ointment and massage.
