Since it was my first rhinoplasty, I looked into a lot of things related to nose surgery and went around to several hospitals for consultations. I have rhinitis, so I looked for hospitals that could also do functional rhinoplasty. Especially when looking at hospitals, I tend to check the directors’ experience, so I focused on places where the surgical experience seemed fairly long? I had only been selecting and visiting hospitals like that, but here all three directors had cosmetic surgery experience, and the surgery reviews weren’t bad either, so I decided on it and went. I had a consultation with Director Ahn Chang-hwan, and he said that while doing functional rhinoplasty, it would basically be good to slightly refine only the nasal bridge and nasal tip. I didn’t have a particular nose shape I wanted, so I said I wanted them to make a natural-looking nose that suited my face. Even though I didn’t bring things like nose photos, I think the director designed it well on his own. The hospital atmosphere was good, and they also looked over things carefully during the consultation. The director also didn’t seem like the type to do things roughly, so I’m keeping this hospital in mind for surgery.
