I decided to get medial philtrum reduction, lateral lip enlargement, and mouth corner surgery, and this was the price I got in exchange for leaving a Babitalk review. When I got the estimate, I was shocked!! (I thought it would be around 2 to 3 million won!!)
Of course philtrum reduction has benefits, but because it is a surgery that leaves a scar, what matters most is the director’s skill in designing it to suit your face, and the surgical experience.
I once saw someone who had had the surgery before, and even when they were just resting their face, the mouth corner area looked like the Joker’s, and the lip shape was so unnatural it looked like a penguin’s. I didn’t want that, and in my 20s I preferred a more flashy look even if it was noticeable, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve started to prefer naturalness!!
So for philtrum reduction, after searching through Babitalk reviews and before-and-after photos on the clinic’s website, I liked Mano’s design because it felt natural.
The doctor’s consultation style was also to only say what was necessary, and not recommend unnecessary procedures!!
I think surgery should be proven by results, not words, so rather than long, unnecessary explanations, I liked that they only told me the important parts.
They also said aftercare would include injections and, if scarring became severe, laser treatment for management.
I left a partial deposit on the day of the consultation, and came back having booked the surgery date for early August.
It’s not far away so I’m nervous, but I hope I can leave a review with good surgery results!!
Also!! The consultation manager here is super kind!! Since I have a meticulous personality and had lots of questions, I asked all sorts of things, and she always explained everything kindly.
