I had incisional double eyelid surgery 13 years ago. Even before surgery my double eyelids were already thick and deep, but my eyes were so uneven that I wanted surgery.
Maybe because I was too young back then, I don’t know, but the doctor was so unfriendly and didn’t listen to the design I wanted or anything like that.
They just kept repeating that they would make it natural from my current eyes. Even though I kept saying I didn’t want the line lowered here, they said lowering the line would be better, and I was about to give up on doing it here, but while waiting I saw the line on someone who had double eyelid surgery and it was so pretty that I ended up getting it done here.
As a result of the surgery, the line became lower than my original one. But they did correct the uneven eyes to some extent, and once the line was lowered, it actually looked more natural after surgery. Before surgery, people would ask if I had double eyelid surgery, but after surgery everyone thought it was natural;; Before surgery it was an in-out line, and after surgery it became a thin in-line.
For about 3 years the line was pretty, and around year 7 the line slowly started to drop. By year 11, the right eye had completely loosened.
I rubbed my eyes often, and for a 3-point buried method it lasted a long time, so I think the skill was good.
