I went for a consultation about under-eye fat repositioning. I had to wait almost 2 months just to get a consultation appointment. Since there were so many people there (because the director was busy with surgeries), I actually thought that made it more trustworthy. I believe that doctors who perform a lot of surgeries are generally good at surgery. I had gone in thinking I’d probably get the surgery, but honestly, I’m conflicted. The director’s consultation was really disappointing. They kept talking about lower blepharoplasty, which I wasn’t interested in, and whenever I asked about under-eye fat repositioning, they kept saying that wasn’t the case and acted like I was misunderstanding. In the end, they say the important thing is the surgeon’s skill.. As someone who thinks the key indicator of skill is surgical experience (number of surgeries), I felt like the director’s attitude might be why there aren’t many people choosing surgery there. The manager was casual and kind, but because of the director, I’m unsure.
