It’s almost been a year since surgery, and maybe it was after the stitches were removed early on, anyway from around then the front shape of my eyes became uneven. Up until then, my strong-looking impression had softened, so I took comfort in that. A little over a month later, one side opened up severely into a ㄷ-shape. Even the eye asymmetry got worse. Before the restoration surgery, only the double eyelid heights were different; the actual eye shape itself was the same. When I asked, they said it can open up if you use a lot of facial expressions. If that was going to happen, I probably wouldn’t have had the surgery lol I’m not lying, I didn’t use facial expressions, and I didn’t even go outside because I was trying not to wear makeup so it wouldn’t scar. I was stuck at home, but at some point it suddenly opened up wide. Now both sides are ㄷ-shaped, with the right side a bit smaller and the left side wider, and I’m living like that lol So the eye shape itself looks seriously uneven lol At least the scars are mostly gone, so I just live without saying much. I feel like having more surgery would end up the same and I’d only gain scars, so I live while rationalizing to myself that I’m somewhat satisfied lol When I see photos other people took of me, the asymmetry is so bad that sometimes I suddenly feel mentally shaken. What on earth should I do? Do I just have to live like this forever lol Or should I get restoration surgery again? lol Then I’m worried about scarring again, and the stress is seriously no joke.
