I got a consultation because I didn’t like that my eyes looked dull. It was good because they explained why they looked that way, so I could hear a surgical explanation tailored to that. I wondered if I had ptosis, but they said it wasn’t that severe. They said my eyelids seem to be the type that stretch easily, and because they are covering my pupils, my eyes look small and dull. They said my eye openings themselves aren’t actually small, but because I have epicanthal folds at the inner corners, doing medial epicanthoplasty together would make the line look more naturally set. They explained everything calmly and in detail, listened to all my questions until the end, and answered them, so I was able to have the consultation comfortably.
