I went last week for an eye + nose consultation. There is a consultation fee of 10,000 won! The facilities were clean and nice. Director Seo Seung-jo said he plans to see patients only for nose specialties going forward, but I went through an acquaintance’s referral, so I received an eye consultation as well. The process was: machine imaging first, consultation with the consultant > consultation with Director Seo Seung-jo > cost explanation by the consultant! To put it simply, the consultant seemed like an anti-fan. She had no professional knowledge at all, mixed in expressions that sounded completely empty from the way she talked;;; she couldn’t even properly assess my face, yet was saying my nose needed osteotomy or whatever;;;;; While getting the consultation I was like, huh? Then the director came in and explained everything again, saying, “Nose surgery is not suitable; this is a nose that should be managed with Botox injections, etc.” He explained in detail what type my face is and how surgery would need to be done, even showing example photos. I also asked about facial contouring because my face is slightly asymmetrical, and he firmly told me I should not do it. The director was not overly friendly, but he had a straightforward, clean style haha But the consultant lol, sigh. Even when explaining the cost, she said they would give a discount if I uploaded photos to a plastic surgery community, so I said I would not disclose photos and would not take the discount, but she kept asking, “Why? Is uploading photos difficult for you? Even though only this part would be uploaded? Is it very difficult for you?” lololol ugh.. I really wish they would choose their staff more carefully.. No matter how smart the director is, the staff can’t support him... I’m not going to have surgery here..
2.86 million won for buried double eyelid surgery (revision) + a slight epicanthoplasty just doesn’t seem right to me... They also said the eye line I want would be difficult..
Anyway, by my standards, this was a hospital where the consultant drives customers away lol (According to that consultant, there is no acquaintance discount, and the only discount is for posting a review on a plastic surgery community.)
