I went because I heard they clearly point out what is possible and what is not. When I was going around for consultations, other places said that if it could not be done, I should wait and come back later. The consultation was that, first, they would need to open it up to know, and that the pinched appearance would barely improve, and that considering I would be having a major surgery, the improvement would be so subtle that only I would notice it. They also said we should look at the condition after 1 year and do a second surgery. I disliked my cut-off-looking nose with the nostrils showing from the front, but they said this amount of nostril has to show, and the surgical plan and design also did not suit me They spoke with my expectations lowered very severely. The consultant said there were many people who said it was not possible, but because there was a possibility, it seemed like they were saying we should proceed with surgery.. What I felt from this consultation was that, since it is an extremely difficult nose, they were basically hedging because it was not certain: if it goes well, that is fortunate, and if it does not, then just as stated, we would go with subtle corrections spread out over several years. I had high expectations, so it was disappointing because it seems like this place was not a good fit for me.
