Consultation fee with the head director: 10,000 won For my first surgery, I used no implant + ear cartilage I was scared to put in silicone because of contracture, so after thinking it over I just had surgery without an implant. But even considering that it was implant-free, there was an unbelievably small before-and-after difference, so I decided on revision surgery.
First, the inside of the hospital felt clean and standard. There weren’t many people waiting when I went, so I saw the consultant quickly. At the two hospitals I went to right before, they were firm that I absolutely had to put in silicone because it was already a revision and because of the height, so I was feeling confused and unpleasant.
I went in on edge, worried it would be the same here, but the head director calmly reflected the needs I wanted, and didn’t try to persuade me toward using other materials, so it was okay. For materials, they mentioned ear cartilage + septal cartilage. The nose height is one thing, but after my first surgery I suddenly developed rhinitis that I never had before, and that was so stressful that even going around to hospitals was irritating. But I liked that the director explained things in real detail and didn’t make excessive recommendations, so for now I think I’ll do it here.
