The hospital layout is unusual. The operating room and consultation room are in different buildings. Before and during surgery, they checked the line thickness with me and let me choose the line I wanted. It’s only been a month, so one eye still has sausage-like swelling. I’m a little worried. The back-and-under canthoplasty healed very quickly. The upper canthoplasty on one eye seems like it may leave a scar, but well, it is a surgery that cuts flesh, so I understand. I had to wait a long time for the consultation, but they kindly answered my questions about the procedure and everything else. For aftercare, they gave me a swelling injection and laser treatment. Maybe because my experience with sedation anesthesia was unpleasant, or because I was cold, or because I was nervous, my body was shaking a lot, but the doctor kept soothing me and talking to me, which was really touching. The person who removed my stitches also said “ah, it’s hot” to themself, and because of that they took them out gently, so it was almost painless.
