The consultation was just as I had heard: they had very firm personal opinions and said this wouldn't work, that wouldn't work.
The director said my eyes could only be done with an incisional method, but I have currently had surgery at another clinic with a non-incisional method. Honestly, it looked like they were trying to steer me only toward the surgical method they usually perform.
Even during the consultation, the pressure to book was seriously too much, and even though I kept refusing, they said I wouldn't be able to have the surgery if I didn't do it now, so I ended up paying a deposit.
After I decided to do it at another clinic and went to get my deposit refunded from this clinic, they asked things like, which clinic are you doing your double-eyelid surgery at? Our clinic's director is better, etc. They didn't give the deposit back easily.
