I was looking into outer canthus widening and heard this doctor was the top name for reconstruction, so I booked here first and went on the scheduled date! They said the director was blunt, but not at all.. It’s just that they’re so busy, and the usual frown lines on the glabella are there too, but they were extremely delicate and thorough.
It was just a consultation, and there was no consultation fee, but when I said I wanted outer canthus widening, they asked what my goal was. I said I wanted my eyes to open wider toward the back, and they said, hmm... since the outer corners are already fairly round, the effect won’t be very big. If we lower them, the lowering might show, but if that’s your goal, I wouldn’t recommend it. They also personally took very careful photos of my eyes!*** They said the eye photos I brought and my actual eyes aren’t that different, and if you change the angle, it just looks different. Don’t be fooled by that, and even if someone else says they can open it more, don’t believe it. Don’t get fooled, have it opened, and then come back with your eyes messed up. It may have an effect, but it’s small, so think carefully. They probably took around 20 photos of my eyes from really every angle, no exaggeration. They took photos, took more photos, showed them to me... then loaded them into Paint and explained my eye structure, length, and width in really detailed terms. They even drew diagrams. They enlarged my eyes and showed me everything, explaining where this line would go down, how much space there was, and so on.
Then they actually recommended trying eye correction to lengthen the eyes vertically if I wanted bigger eyes. It was the most thorough consultation ever, to the point where I couldn’t think of any more questions. When I said thank you, they said what thanks, it’s your own eyes, you should know them well, and gave me a real deep-dive explanation... It was my first time seeing a director who had just finished surgery personally draw diagrams while taking photos of a patient. I’m going to save up and get eye correction.....
Even when I was leaving after the consultation, they said goodbye so kindly! At first there was a place that said they could definitely open my eyes and do exactly everything I wanted, but I held off just in case and then canceled without a second thought. The consultation at this doctor’s clinic and one other doctor’s clinic were exactly the same. I couldn’t put down a deposit for outer canthus widening because the recommendation was lukewarm, but I’m planning to really go for eye correction later..
