It was 10 years ago, so I don't remember the price exactly. I had square jaw surgery + anterior chin T-osteotomy, but the asymmetry improvement that I had emphasized did not happen at all. My left jaw was on the larger side, but they actually shaved down the relatively slimmer right side even more, and on the left side they barely did anything, to the point I couldn't tell whether they had shaved it or not; since it was such a large factory-style hospital, I honestly even wonder whether that doctor really performed it. They put me to sleep before entering the operating room haha. After this surgery, I avoided large factory-style hospitals. About 2 weeks after surgery, blood that hadn't drained suddenly collected in my left jaw and it swelled up like a pufferfish, but thankfully they handled the aftercare quickly, and I went to the hospital and had it all drained, so it got better quickly. (At the time, it was really scary.)
I haven't had any major side effects for 10 years, but sagging skin definitely happens, so you have to keep up with lifting treatments. The pins in my anterior chin still sometimes feel tight, and if the area is irritated, it turns red.
This is absolutely not a surgery to take lightly, so decide carefully, and especially for major surgeries like facial contouring, I recommend going to a hospital where you can view the CCTV footage.
